Maxine Goodman has experience in community and hospital pharmacy, serving 10 years as a Director of Hospital Pharmacy in a medium size hospital in Sydney's western suburbs.
Maxine was one of the pioneers of clinical pharmacy in Australia and was the University of Sydney's first appointed clinical tutor in hospital pharmacy.
She has held numerous positions in official pharmacy including, at various times, President, Secretary and Treasurer of the NSW Branch of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists, Chairman of the NSW Drug Information Review Panel and Councillor of the NSW Branch of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.
In 2006 she completed over 23 years as the Branch Director of the NSW Branch of the Pharmaceutical Society, overseeing this organisation's growth in education, practice support and advocacy.
Maxine has always identified the need for support staff to be appropriately trained. In recent times she has become a strong advocate for all support staff who handle therapeutic substances to be suitably accredited.
Maxine brings to Bronger Associates her organisational abilities, her writing skills, her passionate belief in pharmacy's health care role and 40 years experience among the profession's hierarchy and directional leaders.
